Passing the Tee: Legacy Circles
Be the First to Know. Be Part of the Movement.
Many Black junior golfers navigate the sport without peers who look like them, without cultural connection, and without a sense of belonging. Legacy Circles are designed to change that by building community, identity, and a sense of home in the game.
The Legacy Circle is a community built to support young Black golfers through:
Identity & confidence development
Cultural belonging
Black golf history & legacy
Community connection
Intentional on-course experiences with peers who look like them.
Legacy Circle Experiences
Local Meetups (In-Person Circles)
Golfers will meet every other month for intentional, structured gatherings that include:
Legacy Moments — learning the stories of Black golf pioneers
Circle Conversations — guided discussions on identity, belonging, and confidence
On-Course Fellowship — fun, low-pressure golf play with other kids who look like them
Reflection & Affirmation — sharing takeaways and building community
Fellowship Through Food — closing each meetup with connection and conversation
Parent Circle Connect - Parents meet, reflect, and learn together just as the kids do, creating a full-circle environment where the entire family is supported.
Sessions designed to help kids feel seen, supported, and surrounded by peers who reflect their journey.
Online Circle
For families without a local circle, our online community will offer:
Legacy Moments that highlight Black golf pioneers and cultural history
Identity & Confidence conversations led by trained facilitators
Guided Group Discussions so kids can connect and share experiences
Interactive Activities that spark learning, reflection, and fun
Space to Meet Other Junior Golfers from across the country who look like them
Parent Circle Connect where parents meet, reflect, and learn together just as the kids do, creating a full-circle environment where the entire family is supported.
This ensures no child is left without community due to location.
The Legacy Circle is currently in its pilot phase, with our first in-person circle launching in Atlanta, Georgia in January 2026. As we develop our structure, curriculum, and focus, we’re beginning to connect with families and leaders who believe in creating culturally affirming spaces for young Black golfers.
Are You Interested in Learning More?
We are currently creating a national database of parents and leaders who want to be part of this movement as it grows. Beginning in Spring 2026, we will introduce our Online Circle to bring young golfers together virtually while we prepare to launch new in-person circles by Fall 2026.
Your information helps us keep you informed, build local interest lists, and connect with families as new circles become ready to launch.
Filling out this form does not commit you to anything; it simply helps us understand interest and keep you informed as circles begin to launch nationwide.
